Thanks so much posting the video. Kind people like you are the ones who inspire and encourage us to keep doing projects, even it if helps just one person.
As you probably know, I am a film director gearing up for my next feature which deals with adult autism. I have chosen a woman who has autism to play one of the key leading roles in the film. Needless to say, many different opinions floating around as a result.
The “RETURN TO AUTISM” series is an attempt to dig into those important questions. The more positive responses and rankings posted, the more likely producers in Hollywood will realize the importance of the film…so…thank you, thank you,, thank you for posting a comment, and I hope you can pass the information along to others who might be as kind.

Once again, I see no mention of “classic autism” or autism and self injury or persons who have autism and seizures, as if they don’t exist….this autism movement is really interesting to me, because having a severely autistic non verbal son with the cognitive abilitity of a perhaps, 13 month old, I’m beginning to see a disturbing pattern of high functioning autistics or persons with aspergers pretending they speak for “all autistics”. While I’m sure they have important things to say, and sometimes give insight to me, about what my son could possibly be thinking or feeling, I find it disingenous that they still fail to show or talk about the realities and challenges of severe autism. For instance, go to you tube and search under autism and self injury or autism and seizures….I don’t see the media representing this side of autism. There is something very, very wrong with that.
